Lara knew from a young age that she wanted to follow in her father and grandfather’s footsteps as an attorney. Her grandfather, Benjamin B. Blackburn, III was a private practice attorney and later served the state of Georgia as a U.S. Representative from 1967 to 1975.
Lara began her legal career while still in high school working alongside her father, an experienced general practitioner in Dalton, Georgia. Following law school, she joined her father as a partner in his firm, and gained experience in a wide array of legal areas, including criminal law, personal injury and probate & estate planning. After a few years, Lara chose to specialize in her true favorite, real estate law. She is passionate about helping families pursue their dream of home ownership.
Lara lives in Marietta with her husband and two young daughters. In her spare time she enjoys playing soccer and being entertained by her spunky little girls.
