Our History
Campbell & Brannon L.L.C. was founded in 1998 by Mike Campbell and Camille Brannon. Mike Campbell’s experience as an attorney includes three years of service for the Marine Corps in California and Okinawa. Mike returned to his hometown of Atlanta and began practicing real estate law in the early 1970s. In 1978, he began his own practice.
Camille Brannon practiced in the commercial real estate department of a large law firm in Atlanta. She was later persuaded to help a friend during the refinancing rush in the 1990s residential closings. During that process, Camille realized she enjoyed it and decided to pursue it.
In 1998, Camille and Mike joined forces to combine their expertise in real estate transactions to form Campbell & Brannon. Under Camille and Mike’s leadership, the firm has grown from two offices to six, conveniently located near the major corridors in Atlanta and boasting over 30 attorneys. While the firm has grown, the mission of creating a professional and personal closing experience for clients has remained the same.
Through its growth, the firm has realized new ways to simplify the closing experience and make it more enjoyable for all involved, from creating detailed forms and questionnaires for collecting closing information online to adding candy bars for clients to enjoy at the closing table.
